The best parenting book I know is "Shepherding Your Child's Heart" by Ted Tripp. It addresses the heart rather than external behaviors - if you're looking for parenting books, don't leave this one out.

Thanks, ESI. It's good to hear from you again! I'll definitely look into Ted Tripp's book.

Grant deadline 4:30 CST - please pray - much warfare and incredible "coincidental" distractions

Shepherding is a pretty good book, although I enjoyed Ginger Plowman's book called Don't Make Me Count to Three more because it's a little more practical. I reviewed both books on my blog (links above).

Shepherding a Child's heart is my #1 favorite.

About your hard sell, I woldn't click unless I know why you liked it (a sentence or two).

If this is as good as "Shepherding", I'm sure I will enjoy it and give away many copies.

Hope the performances continue to gather laughs!

I will look forward to seeing if I get a laugh from you on my most recent post!

That sounds good. sadly I'm pretty much done with parenting. My first is gone and I'm thinking of taking a pretty much hands-off approach to the next two.

    Just kidding of course.

Your quick hard sell robs me of your nice, neat bullet-point summary. You know, the one that would let you do all the work and let me get the benefit?

Why don't you work that into the experiment?

    ;-)

Eve, I posted a link to the review. That was just an oversight. Thanks for pointing it out.

Gordon, I gave a good bullet point summary in the review I posted earlier.

Matthew, thanks for dropping by! It's always good to see fellow Church of Christ buddies.

Ack! I thought I'd commented here. I must've dreamt it. Sorry about that. Thanks so much for being a spectacular part of this tour, Marcus!
