Um, I'm in the clouds, and it's foggy in here.

I use tabs for my tags. I find that cloud tagging does work better on some blogs-especially design wise.

For a blog that already has a lot of front-page content, though, it can be a bit cluttery.

Is blogging itself like a virtual manifestation of the great cloud of witnesses?

Like LL, I feel a bit foggy about all this.

I think I should find a "blogging for dummies" book - this is as over my head as the clouds themselves.

    Tag is a label/key words/topic/etc

I'm with you all ultimately. What is the point of tags? They don't link anywhere. Hmm. It's time to go back to the books on this one.

In the meantime, I'll finish up the blog tour series over the next few days.

I like the idea of the cloud tag...presumably it's an aesthestically pleasing way to display your tags ("labels" in Blogger). I've seen it on other blogs, and have been intrigued by it. However, I've never seen it implemented on a Blogger blog.

I like tags because it's essentially metadata for your blog. It provides a way to organize and describe your blog content.

I might give it a try implementing tag clouds down the road. Thanks for sharing.
