Working hard on the presentation for Mt. Hermon. That’s why I haven’t been engaging folks in the comment section as much as I like to. But I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the kind words yesterday from folks who read the script. Thanks everyone.

  • Twice over. It stings on the way out, and sometimes it comes back to sting again with its truth or wisdom. (Ever read something you wrote and thought... oh, yes, ouch.)
  • That is an interesting idea--that we can be stung by our own words. That happens in the blogosphere sometimes. I fire off a comment or a post and regret it later.

    It has happened in my current fiction project as well. I had to take a break at one point when it got too dark for me. Strange how my own ideas can be too dark, isn't it?
  • The regret is one side (when one does not choose words wisely... and I've been there). The other is just regular conviction that comes through our own wise words!
  • We all know that Art is not truth. Art is a lie that makes us realize truth, at least the truth that is given us to understand.
