It deleted my little link somehow. I'd much rather visit the Tower of Terror of course! Give me thrills and gore and spooks and fun.

Susan, thanks! Opening night went great. Lots of broken legs. Best of all, the audience laughed. And if they are laughing it means they are understanding what's going on.

Re: Modernism Imposes Order with Arrogance and Presumption

the what? The guidebooks talked about the Carousel of Boredom. That cracked me up. I had fond memories of it as a kid too. There's something about Disney's unapologetic optimism that sometimes hooks me despite myself.

Personally, I'd much rather visit the

Re: Modernism Imposes Order with Arrogance and Presumption

This is too brainy for me--and besides I think I agree with you. But Mark, sometimes we're too technologically inept to escape the dark side (apparently). Well, not LL, surely, but, ahem, some of us.

Also, that Disney clip was a weird blast from the past. My brother and I were enamoured with that carousel of progress when I was 8 and he was 4 . . . the song was different at the time, though.
