Winning the blog drawing was a God thing. I had tried to set up in Blogger with my MSN email account and they wouldn't let me. I assume they thought I was a rival Microsoft employee. When l.l. helped we still couldn't get that email to work.

I hope you have recovered from your journey.

Re: Trying to Get Home

Merrie et al, thanks for your thoughts and prayers. Merrie and another person whose name I didn't know actually prayed for us all in the airport!

The delay ended up working out ok, it was just really long. I got in late last night at 10:30. Ugh. Exhausting.

I'm going to take a few days off here.

Come back next week for slideshows about marketing books with social media!

Re: Trying to Get Home

Mark,
I really thought you would have gotten home by now. I'm so sorry. California just doesn't want to let you go. It seems like a nice state, a sunny state, a state filled with happy people, but in reality it's vortex. In fact, you may have already been sucked into the California black hole and it might not even be the real you posting.

Perhaps I should be quiet. The vortex may come after me next . . .

I hope the real you gets home soon. And I hope your family is doing okay. Many prayers for your safe return.
Blessings,
Merrie

Re: Trying to Get Home

Wow Mark! I'm sorry you've been stranded for so long. I'm already back into interrupted sleep and just assumed everyone else from the conference would be back at whatever they usually do when they aren't up until the wee hours telling (and creating new) stories. It was great getting to know you; I hope you find your way home soon!

Re: Trying to Get Home

I hope you get home soon! I know it must be frustrating to be separated from your family.

And yes, please sign me up for the telepathic blogging seminar, too. It sure would save some time in getting out all of these blog out that are stuck in my head.

Re: Trying to Get Home

Becky, thank you so much for your kind words about our seminar. We completely enjoyed presenting, and I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed being on the receiving end (well, except for your very nice part in the presentation! In that case, we got to have the enjoyment).

L.L. Does that mean that you posted this telepathically? Now that's a blogging workshop I need to hear--telepathic blogging.

Re: Trying to Get Home

Mark, I enjoyed getting to know the real you a bit. When I get the pictures off the camera and onto the computer, then people will get to see what you REALLY look like. ;-)

Seriously, I hope you found everyone at home healthy and safe. I was so sorry to hear about the serious flooding in Texas and Arkansas.

Thanks again for including me in your blogging workshop. You and L. L. did a fabulous job. It was informative and clear and well documented. Without a doubt it pointed writers to the truth about blogging and let them make an informed decision to join the community or not. Really well done.

Becky
