GoodWordEditing.com: Why People Buy Cookbooks (and why you need to know)

I loved this little article. And could just see you and Amy, her chatting amiably amidst the hubbub of children and pirate songs.

And now I must contend with Craver for "lost twin" status with you. For I've always called myself an "occasional writer". Really. In exactly the way you discuss it.

L.L., I remember talking about occasional writing with you one time on the phone. It's the only way to write authentically in my opinion. (Though I don't think everyone has to be consciously occasional...)

    Marcus,

I tried to go to your poetry e-book, but the link didn't work. You might need to prefix it with http:// but I am not sure.

    Thanks for the article!

I love the food network too. I like...watching people cook stuff. But I never do, nor do I often go places to get fancy foods. But watching it fascinates me. I'm drawn to it somehow.

I hope no one in your house says E-V-O-O.
Rachel Ray is one of my top five pet peeves.

Robert, I think I got it fixed. Just in case you can click on "poetry" in my header and you'll get there quick enough.

RLP, food is my primary indulgence. I love love love good food.

Melissa, so good to hear from you! I can see why Rachel Ray would be a pet peeve, but when you have a family she's just so darn practical.

Ah, Rachel Ray ... She's trying to take over the world, you know. I'm a huge Food Network fan, too! I LOVE to cook. Well, actually, I love watching people enjoy what I've cooked. ;) And I love good food, so a passion for cooking comes naturally.

    Nice article. Quite helpful.
